The new dashboard is great. it would be good if we could choose to keep the original colour. i.e red when under target and green when passed.
Or have the ability to choose the colour we want displayed.
It would also be helpful to have the ability to chosen an end date as well as a start date on the filters.
Currently you can only choose the start date and the end date is set to the current day.

Good news, the colour based on target has just been added to SmartView Dashboards this week as part of our planned enhancements of the new dashboard that will continue for the rest of this year (and beyond).
If you go to Settings > Report Settings > Targets - you can define the metric and targets that you want to set along with your choice of colours. This will then be reflected back in the widgets based on the current score
The custom date selection work, to also allow you to choose the end date - rather than it just being today is also currently in design and will follow very soon.
